In the first episode of season 5 we learned that Tara has left the life that she knew behind her, first when she got her head blown off and secondly when Sookie convinced Pam to turn Tara in a desperate attempt to save her “life”. Tara is not Pam’s first progeny however as she mentions before going to ground in Sookie’s backyard.
