Vad hände när Terry var i Irak? SPOILERS
We’ve previously reported that Scott Foley is going to play Terry’s army buddy and he was introduced in True Blood season 4. That episode was just to introduce him and he’ll be sticking around for the fifth season.
According to TV Guide, with Scott Foley in season 5, the show will reveal “what happened in Iraq that caused the Merlotte’s chef to come back with such a severe case of PTSD.”
There’s going to be “a flashback to 2003″ that will “see his squad head out for a night of partying and mischief that goes tragically awry.” Uh-oh, it sounds like this isn’t going to just be a case of something happened while he was in Iraq. It makes sense that he has such a bad case of PTSD if whatever happened to him happened when he was least expecting it. His squad was planning for a night of fun, and even though they’re soldiers, that doesn’t mean they expected something to happen when they were just expecting “partying and mischief.” That still doesn’t answer the question of why Patrick (Foley) is in town, and he didn’t give him anything in the season 4 finale as to why he has stopped by—or why he’s apparently staying.
As sad as it was to see Henry die on Grey’s Anatomy, it does mean Scott Foley’s free to be in True Blood season 5, and that means there’s time to explore more about Terry’s past and what brings Patrick to town. There were plenty of questions left after season 4 ended, but what happened to Terry to lead to the PTSD is one that has been around for much longer, and it’s good that they’re finally going to be addressing that. What better way than to do it when one of his old buddies is around?

What is Coming in Season 5?
Spoilers- Will Jessica Get a New Love Interest?
Frågan: I’m going through serious True Blood withdrawals. Got anything to hold me over until summer?
Svar (Taylor): Jessica might be getting a new love interest who has an advantage over Jason and Hoyt: he’s British and very attractive. Plus, his name is Claude. Try competing with that.
What do you think? Will Jessica be going after Sookie’s fairy cousin Claude?Källa
What Will Happen To Tara?
In season four’s most shocking finale moment, major player Tara was seemingly killed off by a bullet that left her brain tissue decorating Sookie’s kitchen. Or was she? This is True Blood after all, so chances are this isn’t the last we’ll see of her. We’ve seen a bunch of people be healed by vampire blood, but is that magical elixir really powerful enough to cure a gaping hole in the head? Fan speculation has been rife with talk of one of the vampires turning Tara into one of them. If that’s the case, then who is the likely candidate as maker? Bill saved her life in the cemetary, but he already has Jessica to deal with. Eric’s relationship with Pam is currently on the rocks, so maybe he’d like a substitute snarky lady vamp sidekick. On the other hand, he attacked Tara and once kept Lafayette prisoner in his filthy basement, so maybe Tara wouldn’t be too thrilled to be his progeny. And then there’s Pam, who Eric has suggested should sire a baby vamp of her own, but we know she and Tara hate each other’s guts.
Or perhaps Tara will return as a ghost, and haunt Lafayette like a ghetto-fabulous Obi Wan Kenobi? Or maybe the True Blood writers have been watching too much Walking Dead, and she’ll come back as a zombie? Here’s where you can post your theories on the exact nature of Tara’s demise.
Ny Skådis Till Säsong 5
TVline reports that Italian actress Valentina Cervi is joining True Blood‘s upcoming fifth season as a series regular, giving life to Salome, an ancient vampire who is a world class seductress and fiercely intelligent. She also has quite a lot of madness in her. She is the most powerful person in every way yet capable of hiding this power when it serves her purposes.
She’s a powerful ancient vampire and a world-class seductress who’s also a little mad. So she’ll fit right into Bon Temps.
Are we looking at the new villain of Season 5?
Stephen Moyer Säger Att True Blood Kommer Fortsätta Efter Säsong 5
Kristin over at “E” answered a question from a fan about whether True Blood will see future seasons after Season 5. She says that she was told by Stephen Moyer that there’s plenty of material to keep it going and going.
Jarrod in Bloomington, Ind.: I heard season five will be the last one for True Blood. Tell me it’s not true. I will flip out!
Not according to Stephen Moyer, and he’s a pretty important guy on T.B. “There is certainly enough material for us to keep going and going,” he tells us. “And as you know, television contracts are six years, so I don’t think there is any need for it to be the last season. I don’t see any need or reason for it to stop when it is as successful as it is.” Feel better?
Hoppas verkligen att det fortsätter efter säsong 5! Vet i alla fall att några skådespelare har skrivit på kontrakt för fler säsonger...

Spoilers season 5 of True Blood
Raelle Tucker, who wrote season 4 episodes 6 & 12 (I Wish I Was The Moon & And When I Die), spoke with EW and gave some clues about what to expect in True Blood season 5. Warning: this article contains minor spoilers for season 5.
“There will be a very significant, strong, mysterious woman at the center of one of our main stories next year,” says co-executive producer Raelle Tucker. “That will be a very familiar and compelling character. It may be someone you’ve heard of before.” We will also once again visit the fairy world touched upon at the beginning of season 4. Says Tucker, “Season 5 will explore more fairies, new fairies, fairies in a way you haven’t really seen fairies. We will all, as well as Sookie, come to understand fairies more than in previous seasons.”
Scott Foley’s Patrick, who we met in the finale, will bring trouble to Terry (Todd Lowe) and Arlene (Carrie Preston). Says Tucker, “His arc has to do with Terry’s past coming back to haunt Bon Temps and Arlene and their life they’re trying to set up together.” The identity of the wolf seen growling at Sam (Sam Trammell) in the final moments will be revealed — and, according to Tucker, is “someone you have never met before.” Tucker, who wrote the season finale, won’t confirm, though, if said werewolf is Alcide’s (Joe Manganiello) father, Jackson, who is featured in book 5 of Charlaine Harris’ Sookie Stackhouse novels. The unearthed King of Mississippi, Russell Edgington (Denis O’Hare), will be back. “Russell is not dead,” says Tucker. “It’s safe to assume the king of Mississippi is not gone for good.” Also look for former Fellowship of the Sun leader — and now vampire — Steve Newlin (Michael McMillian). Teases Tucker, “I will say that Steve’s reason for returning to Jason is not at all what you expect.”
Then there’s Sookie, who blew off three supernatural hunks to be alone. Fans of Eric (Alexander Skarsgård) and Sookie’s romance will be sad to know that her independent streak will continue next year. “While there will always be romance in Sookie’s life, Sookie at the moment is choosing herself over all of them,” reveals Tucker. “I think that will continue to play into season 5.“ At least there’s the potential for a new bromance — or a Thelma & Louise-style fugitive friendship — between Eric and Bill (Stephen Moyer) now that they’ve killed Nan Flanagan (Jessica Tuck). Teases Tucker, “The consequences of their actions in the finale are going to chase them for a while next year.”

Joe Manganiello pratar om säsong 5 av True Blood SPOILERS
While True Blood’s Joe Manganiello was disappointed that he didn’t get to play the role of Superman in director Zack Snyder’s franchise reboot, (the role went to British actor Henry Cavill), he is consoled by the fact that he expects “big stuff” to happen for Alcide in True Blood’s Season 5.
Joe told Digital Spy that a schedule conflict with his HBO show True Blood took him out of the running to play Clark Kent.
“[Warner Bros] wanted me to screen test and part of the screen test process is that they actually have to settle your deal, as if you were cast going into a screen before you get the screen test,” he said.
“And so that involved settling of shooting schedule and the dates for shooting Superman would have conflicted with 11 weeks of season five [of True Blood]. And as it turns out they had big plans for my character in season five and they were not willing to share me with Superman.
“So regrettably I never got to screen test and I never got to compete for the role. I never got to put on the suit.”
Discussing how he felt after losing out on the Superman part, Manganiello added: “This was back in January. I’d be lying if I said that I wasn’t… I was really, severely depressed for a few months. For a few months afterwards.
“Because I really thought the direction they were taking the movie and the character, I really thought I had a great idea where to take that and I was very excited and I just wanted to try out my ideas and things. But, you know, it just wasn’t meant to be.”
The 34-year-old admitted that he was consoled by the fact that “big stuff” will happen for his character Alcide Herveaux in True Blood.
“Playing Alcide is a bit like playing a superhero. He has this secret identity that he has to hide from the world and has these superpowers and is burdened by that,” he commented. “I love the show and I love this character, I love working with my castmates and I’ll forever be indebted to [True Blood executive producer] Alan Ball for the opportunity. So there’s a definite upside.”
